Michael, There are indeed several limitations with Bing Maps layer, most of the because the legal agreement doesn't allow to copy areas of Bing Maps attachments. Here is the list: It's not possible to "Save As" a Bing Maps attachment to a different raster format in Raster Manager. It's not possible to add a Bing Maps attachment to the "Raster Convert" dialog in Raster Manager. When publishing a DGN that references a Bing Maps attachment to i-model, the Bing Maps attachment is detached if the raster "Publishing Options" setting is set to "Reduce Size". Bing Maps cannot be attached to DWG design files. Bing Maps cannot be attached to V7 DGN design files. Bing Maps are detached when DGM model is exported to Google Earth. Bing Maps are not visible in the output of the "Save Image" tool. Bing Maps are not visible in the output of the "Luxology" render tool. Bing maps are not visible in the output of Bentley Descartes "Merge" tool. Bing Maps cannot be used with Bentley Descartes "Copy Image Area" tool. Bing Maps cannot be used with Bentley Descartes "Corridor" tool.
