HI Karl, I'm at application engineer for Descartes in the UK. I'd be happy to do a demo for you, if you want to send me the POD I can prepare the demo using your data to get you started. If you're competent with MicroStation then working with point clouds in Descartes is not too difficult. As Adam says the Model by Section tool is perfect for this type of task, and takes all the pain out of moving the ACS around (it's all done automatically). Dan
