I just tried it on my laptop with the same results. I also have an "untitled" PCF file that when I select it it defaults to a plain user which did not help. However, on my laptop, I noticed it seemed to detect the existing STM (empty as is is) and would not allow me to assign a GeoCS to it. But when I created a new STM with the same name, overwriting the existing one, it finally allowed me to assign a GeoCS to it. As I am writing this, the laptop is trying to generate the STM having had the IMG file's points added to it. Let me point out that I tried recreating the STM multiple times on all of these failures on my main desktop with no luck. Now, I need to export a subset of this to an InRoads DTM without any thinning of points in the area of the subset. is there a good tutorial on this? How can we "fix" the broken behavior on my main PC and also determine why it would not allow me to assign a GeoCS to the previously created STM?
